As an Associate Consultant, this is what you’ll be doing: QS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate to support its fast-growing higher education performance consulting practice. This role involves actively supporting the delivery of curricular analysis projects for higher education institutions, including report development, research activities, quality control, and process improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with consultants and cross-functional teams to produce high-quality analytical deliverables, contribute to the development of educational taxonomies and internal tools, and ensure projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with labor market demands and client needs. Requirements

  • Very strong attention to detail with a dedication to maintaining high standards of quality
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, with high proficiency in written communication in both languages.
  • Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and extract relevant information from diverse sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong expertise in Google Sheets; experience with related data analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience in managing projects, particularly those involving data management or educational technology.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow within a consulting environment.
  • The ability to work independently with guidance and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

  • Experience with related data analysis tools
  • Experience in higher education or familiarity with the sector

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the preparation and delivery of curricular or Alumni analysis initiatives, including report development, research activities, internal tool development, and continuous process improvement to support the curricular analysis product.
  • Prepare and develop reports for higher education institutions, manage an assigned portfolio of programs, and execute the full process from initial scoping through final delivery.
  • Conduct desk research on educational content across diverse knowledge areas to ensure report outputs are aligned with labor market demands and client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—particularly the Data Annotation team—to improve and expand educational taxonomies by providing structured feedback that ensures consistent representation of the relationships between skills, occupations, and fields of study.
  • Perform rigorous quality checks across all curricular analysis activities to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and integrity of deliverables.
  • Provide support in project organisation, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining project timelines, and managing project documentation.
