About The Position

As an Appian Associate Consultant, you’ll build and deploy web-based applications using the Appian platform to support our customers’ business needs. You’ll become an expert on our software - from implementing the first business process management application to scaling a program across the enterprise, you will bring our process automation platform to life for our clients. Along the way, you’ll also gain hands-on experience across the full project life cycle, learning how to define requirements, launch new data models, build APIs and integrations, and collaborate directly with business users and technical teams. This role gives you the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop the skills to become a trusted advisor who drives lasting digital transformation for our customers.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Math, or equivalent background.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.) and cloud technologies preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel; 20% requirement to support customer engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in business process management, knowledge management, personalization, business intelligence, and application integration.
  • Desire to use a design thinking approach for prototyping and modeling business processes.
  • A solid foundation of, or passion for, technology.
