The responsibilities of the role will focus on the hydrologic and hydraulic aspects of infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is interested in taking on technical challenges, learning new software, gaining exposure to large infrastructure projects, and working as part of a team. Anticipated tasks cover hydrology, stormwater management, conveyance, bridge hydraulics, water and wastewater distribution and collection, erosion control, drafting, and plan production. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and with a team, has a background in basic hydrology and hydraulics, curious to learn, a critical thinker, and proficient with Microsoft office products. You will be joining a team that routinely handles numerous assignments from NCDOT and local municipalities as well as major airports, railway owners, etc. These range from small drainage improvement projects to the largest interstate extensions.
