About The Position

Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, Environmental Science, or related STEM field.
- Early-career candidates encouraged: recent graduates and those with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
- Good analytical and organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; Ramboll cannot provide sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Education or training in environmental noise, industrial noise control, or building acoustics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and analyze environmental sound measurements using sound level meters and monitors.
- Develop and run environmental noise propagation models using industry software.
- Assist in evaluating and quantifying the effectiveness of noise mitigation strategies.
- Review and apply local, state, and federal environmental noise regulations and guidance.
- Prepare clear technical reports and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders.
