About The Position

Build your Career. Make a Difference. Presbyterian is hiring a skilled Configuration Analyst responsible for providing basic configuration and maintenance for production applications. Under general supervision provides a variety of basic technical tasks related to assigned area of responsibility. Work directly with business units and other stakeholders to gather business requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in related technical/business area plus 0-2 years of experience in IT. 3 years additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 0-2 years of application specific experience.

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, responsible for providing basic configuration, testing/quality review, documentation and maintenance of applications.
  • Provides a variety of basic tasks related to assigned area of responsibility.
  • Work directly with business units and other stakeholders to gather business requirements
  • Uses basic analytical and problem solving skills as well as an understanding of the business and systems to resolve problems with production applications.
  • Participates with testing and validation efforts.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the configuration relationships between the subsystems, applications, modules, etc.
  • Work with end users to identify needs and resolve problems
  • Participates in review, impact assessment, testing and modifications for application updates, upgrades and installations.
  • Gather and create business requirements.
  • Project work
