About The Position

The Associate Compliance Auditor is responsible for ensuring adherence to established standard operating procedures by conducting audits of member benefits prior to finalization. This role supports accurate and timely benefit distribution while contributing to continuous process improvements within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a business-related field
  • 0–3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Effective problem-solving and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated accountability and accuracy in task execution

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of member accounts to ensure accurate benefit disbursement, including pension, refunds, deceased, and disability cases
  • Build effective working relationships with internal departments and external employers to obtain information and resolve audit issues with minimal supervision
  • Identify potential areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance standard operating procedures and departmental processes
  • Support the compliance audit team in developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures and process flowcharts for final approval
  • Ensure all settlement-related records are accurately reported by employers
  • Coordinate with internal audit teams and employers to verify and resolve discrepancies caused by data variances or regulatory changes
  • Prepare, document, and process manual corrections to member data as required
  • Research and review audit processes to develop consistent solutions and supporting documentation
  • Review assigned benefit escalation tickets in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in data cleanup initiatives by reviewing and correcting assigned records
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management
