We are seeking a detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to develop, implement, and administer compensation policies and programs. Responsibilities include researching job requirements, evaluating job positions, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, and developing salary budgets. Our ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data analysis and compensation strategy, and is knowledgeable about HR practices and laws affecting compensation. Ultimately, the Compensation Analyst will ensure that our compensation policies align with our business strategy and comply with legal standards.

  • Research job requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits
  • Coordinate and participate in salary surveys to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved
  • Conduct analysis of compensation within the company
  • Assist in developing compensation policies and procedures
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws governing compensation practices
  • Collaborate with HR team on special projects
  • Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations
  • Problem-solving skills to address and resolve any compensation-related issues or discrepancies
  • Analyze salary data and market trends to determine appropriate salaries for employees
  • Assist with designing and implementing compensation plans and programs that are competitive and align with company goals
  • Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate job classifications and salary ranges
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on employee bonuses, promotions, and other compensation-related issues
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to create budgets for compensation programs
  • Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations related to compensation and make necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and data on employee compensation
  • Administer severance program
  • Prepare reports and presentations on compensation-related topics for management and other stakeholders
  • Communicate and educate employees on compensation policies, guidelines, and programs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal requirements related to compensation
  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ years work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
  • Proven work experience as a Compensation Analyst, HR Analyst, or similar role
  • Knowledge of HR practices and compensation cycle management
  • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
  • Understanding of labor legislation and payroll processes
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and HRIS systems
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create complex reports and spreadsheets
  • BSc degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, or relevant field
