About The Position

The Associate Community Engagement Specialist plays a key role in building relationships, coordinating events, and supporting outreach initiatives that strengthen theanization's presence within themunity. This early career role is ideal for a motivated, service-oriented professional who is passionate about connecting with diverse audiences, enhancingmunity partnerships, and delivering meaningful event experiences. The specialist will collaborate across teams to plan and execute events, supportmunity programs, engage stakeholders, and help implement outreach strategies that reflect theanization's mission and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Marketing, Community Development, Event Management.
  • Any equivalentbination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid class C driver's license.
  • Skilled in verbal and writtenmunication, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through collaborative teamwork and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks andpeting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy inpleting work assignments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member while demonstrating respect for others and contributing to d goals.
  • Ability to adapt to change, learn new processes, and take on new challenges with a flexible, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and effectiveness while managing multiple assignments simultaneously

  • Previous internship or volunteer experience inmunity-focused roles.
  • Experience with CRM systems, event management tools, ormunity engagement platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a weing and knowledgeable representative of theanization at events, presentations, and meetings.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining relationships with local advocacy partners, nonprofits, schools, andmunity groups.
  • Supports outreach initiatives that promote programs, services, or campaigns.
  • Assists the responses tomunity inquiries about tours and provide timely information and resources.
  • Assists in gatheringmunity feedback to make data informed decisions and help identify opportunities for new or improved engagement efforts.
  • Assists in the logistics and execution of in-person and virtual events, such employee andmunity celebrations.
  • Coordinates event registration, vendormunication, volunteer support, setup/tear-down, and on-site operations.
  • Creates and track event timelines, checklists for the team to ensure smooth execution.
  • Supports post-event tasks including surveys, attendance reports, and recap documentation.
  • Tracks event budgets, receipts, and necessary documentation.
  • s create content for newsletters, andmunity outreach materials.
  • Supports the development of presentations, talking points, and promotional resources.
  • Maintains accurate calendar and records of events andmunity engagement activities.
