The Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project is looking for an Associate Community Education Coordinator (CEC) to support educational and art programming at state correctional facilities. The Associate CEC works closely with APAEP staff to create spaces for learning and creativity for students across Alabama. This part-time position assists in program development, provides instructor and student support, ensures APAEP policies and protocols are kept by those teaching for APAEP, and works to update and maintain all APAEP databases. A successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adheres to strict deadlines, adaptable, passionate, and works well in strictly regimented environments. Administrative experience managing multiple lines of communication and complex record-keeping systems is key. Extensive knowledge of Office 365 is required.
