The Associate Community Banker delivers personalized client service by holding financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine their needs and provide appropriate solutions. This position is responsible maintaining client relationships, with emphasis on First Interstate Bank's Service Commitments and in accordance with our vision and values. The role involves delivering personalized client service in person and over the phone, assisting with issues, and offering solutions. It also includes opening and maintaining various products like consumer and basic business checking and savings accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, and consumer credit cards. The banker will perform Teller duties, conducting financial transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, and accurately counting currency and coin. They may also engage in conversations about and process new consumer loan requests, identify referral opportunities to other lines of business, and build client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up. The position requires accurate work completion, participation in volunteer activities and financial education, and staying current on regulatory changes and compliance with bank regulations, policies, and procedures.
