Elsevier Care Planning Acute Care Inpatient Pediatric Associate Clinical Editor: Must-haves: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license 5-10+ years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse Within a year of clinical practice, with 3-5 years of experience providing direct nursing care of patients in the acute care inpatient pediatric setting Proficiency with Excel Experience with medical writing: publications, policies, presentations, clinical overviews, patient education materials, or graduate papers Experience with group facilitation and team collaboration Excellent clinical reasoning skills Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Specialty: acute care inpatient pediatric nursing Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing (master’s preferred) Experience with literature searching in PubMed Experience using AI to augment clinical practice Day-to-Day: In this role, you will be responsible for writing and editing clinically sound care plans and clinician documentation content for the electronic health record used by nurses and allied healthcare clinicians providing care to patients in the acute care inpatient pediatric setting, with a strong emphasis on literature review and synthesis to inform evidence-based practice. You will leverage your background in acute care inpatient pediatric nursing to create and refine workflows within EHR systems, ensuring content is both clinically accurate and technically implementable. You will support customer engagement by addressing customer inquiries and soliciting feedback via surveys or collaborative calls. Your work will support alignment with accreditation and regulatory requirements as applicable to the scope of Elsevier Care Planning content. You will be actively engaged in work-related short-term projects, committees and meetings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, HIT vendor representatives and customers to ensure care plans are relevant, up-to-date, and integrated into clinical workflows. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $59,200 - $98,600. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
