About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, finance, healthcare administration, management, accounting, statistics, econometrics, or related subjects.
  • 0 - 2 years of prior work experience preferred.
  • Proven capability with MS Excel and relational database programs (e.g., MS SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata).
  • Desire to expand capabilities in database management and analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate level understanding of business analytics, data science, or other practice-related subjects.
  • Experience with statistical analysis programs (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata, R) is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets, and other files as dictated by project needs.
  • Perform detailed research and analysis, then put the results into action by gathering, reviewing, and summarizing literature and data.
  • Demonstrate creative and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop solutions.
  • Apply critical thinking skills in quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Assist with production of client deliverables in various formats.
  • Audit own work product and work product of others to assure quality.
  • Participate in a team environment and work hard to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Keep abreast of relevant policies with state regulating bodies on an ongoing basis.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings, public workgroups, and other sessions relevant to clients.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Participate in group practice meetings and travel as needed.
