About The Position

The Associate Client Relationship Manager at Freeman Company is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. This role focuses on processing orders, managing billing, and driving sales through excellent customer service. The position supports the Client Relationships group within the Growth (Sales) team and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office and/or show-site work 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or High School Diploma with relevant work experience.
  • 6 months to 2 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to present information effectively.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong drive for personal growth and commitment to succeed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in event management or related fields.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships and solicit business with new and existing accounts.
  • Process orders and complete billing for clients.
  • Perform outbound sales calls, including cold calling and lead follow-up.
  • Prospect customers through cold calls and referrals.
  • Up-sell current customers and develop proposals for potential clients.
  • Quote prices and credit terms in compliance with company policies.
  • Act as the primary representative for assigned accounts throughout the sales cycle.
  • Attend industry events to generate business and re-sign existing clients.
  • Produce and review orders with operational personnel and confirm job requirements.
  • Supervise jobs on-site as required and manage event job costing.
  • Respond to customer complaints and handle payment collection processes.
  • Prepare business transaction reports and record activities in the CRM system.
  • Conduct site inspections and follow up with customers to ensure service excellence.
