We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Client Processing II to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Perform routine and non-routine client service and transactional support functions to ensure accurate and timely processing. Provide analytics and reporting services, working to improve and automate transaction processing systems. Advise organizational units and teams to ensure timely delivery of service or resolution of issues. Provide direction and support to lower-level service roles to ensure successful delivery of client service. Process account-related transactions according to scheduled events and client-authenticated instructions. Respond to inquiries and resolve problems or issues efficiently. Assess client needs and suggest alternative approaches to service models to enhance client experience. Participate in product development, enhancement, and system testing to maintain accuracy and efficiency in processing high-value transactions. Apply in-depth knowledge of systems and industry standards to solve complex problems and provide solutions to internal and external clients. Manage situations requiring adaptation or extensive research based on client responses. May allocate and review work of support team members, including supervisory review, training, and approval responsibilities. Contribute to the achievement of team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in brokerage processing.
  • Applicable local or regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams.

  • BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees.
  • The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $80,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
  • However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
  • This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
