About The Position

As an Associate Client Manager, you'll be part of a team of experienced industry retail insights experts with the main goal to delight clients; supporting them for informed business decisions through delivery of analysis and insights on industries, markets and consumers using NIQ data with NIQ tools, following NIQ standards. This role has deep knowledge of the customer’s business and industry that enable you to identify new opportunities for NIQ to drive value. You'll work successfully across a matrixed organization structure, fully leveraging the service model. You are flexible and easily adapt in a dynamic work environment. You have a can-do attitude and are able to tell a story using data. You are the first to recognize an opportunity, then turn it into a solution. Curiosity, communication, and critical thinking drive your work. You are comfortable working with complex customer relationships and issue resolution. You are creative in leveraging existing data sources to answer tough questions. You work collaboratively, part of a remote team within a challenging and matrixed environment while maintaining high standards. You have strong time management skills and are comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years industry experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, market research.
  • Familiarity with NIQ (or similar) platforms, syndicated data, and retail measurement tools is highly desirable.
  • Advanced capability in data analysis and synthesis, leveraging large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Discover and helping diminish/eliminate client concerns and roadblocks in order to drive usage.
  • Skilled at managing complex client relationships and solving problems effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Ability to coach others in data analyses and working with NIQ tools.
  • Curious person who likes building stories based on data to answer questions.
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Digital savvy and fast learner of concepts/tools/analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a master of propriety NIQ tools and metrics and use these to help solve clients' business questions.
  • Partner with customers to set objectives that drive business impact and maximum client value, building and maintaining strong relationships and deep expertise with adaptability, urgency, and positivity.
  • Develop a consultative approach to client business issues, understanding the industry and what issues a client is facing.
  • Understand and leverage NIQ solutions and apply industry knowledge to conduct advanced issue-based analyses with clear proactive insights and action-oriented recommendations.
  • Prepare and present insights/recommendations as per Academy Silver graduate level; i.e. always using SCQA and AP efficiently.
  • Lead client presentations with proactive insights and action-oriented recommendations.
  • Drive strategic thought leadership with customers leveraging NIQ tools and assets.
  • Identify opportunities for increased partnership and elevate those opportunities to organizational partners.
  • Take initiative to remove roadblocks when they arise.
  • Facilitate clear day-to-day communications with customers, proving the value of NIQ solutions in support of growth, adoption, and value creation.
  • Ensure client stakeholders buy into outcomes and value NIQ is delivering to them.
  • Understand client structure and organization.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of solutions to achieve forecasted revenue on-time
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure work is connected to customer business objectives, delivered on-time, and focused on outcome
  • Client briefing: Ensure client briefing is received as per the briefing form with all areas filled. Ask questions to client to probe and understand the real issue.

  • This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $69,800 - $83,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
