About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York, NY or Philadelphia, PA . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This role provides advisory support on multinational programs by developing and executing renewal and placement strategies in collaboration with internal teams and clients, while analyzing carrier quotes to assist in solution development and negotiations. It also involves managing coverage follow-ups, building client and market relationships, supporting senior advisors in product development, and contributing to client retention through effective risk solutions and market knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years Industry experience; Multinational and/or Foreign Casualty experience preferred
  • P&C license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to build strong relationships and build rapport with internal colleagues, clients, and carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an advisory colleague on low touch multinational programs/clients and/or provides support to senior advisors on higher touch/complex multinational programs/clients.
  • Develops renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the Placement team, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive and executes and adapts in accordance with client instructions.
  • Analyzes quotes from carriers and provides analysis to more senior Advisory colleagues and/or clients to assist with developing solutions, negotiating terms, and renewals.
  • Supports senior Advisory colleagues to reach business goals through research and document preparation to support and assist the design, development, and marketing of new insurance and risk products.
  • Manages follow-up on coverage changes with underwriters to ensure the coverage specifications are correct.
  • Builds and maintains client, internal Marsh, and market contacts at appropriate levels to execute effectively on client’s program.
  • Contributes to the firm’s body of knowledge through active internal communication to keep abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditions.
  • Contributes to client retention through effective risk solutions and excellence in service.
