As an Associate Early Learning Teacher, you’ll have the chance to: Shape young minds: Work with children ranging from infants (6 weeks old) to kindergartners, helping to guide their emotional, social, and educational development. Requirements

Must meet the qualification standards set by the State of NH Childcare Licensing (this typically includes background checks and appropriate education/experience).

Responsibilities

Create a positive classroom culture: Ensure your classroom is a welcoming, fun, and safe place for kids to learn and grow.
Foster meaningful connections: Build strong, caring relationships with children, families, and staff members.
Encourage curiosity and exploration: Plan and lead creative, hands-on activities that stimulate children’s development and support their unique learning styles.
Support each child’s development: Help kids build essential skills like problem-solving, communication, and emotional regulation in a supportive, structured environment.
Promote a healthy, balanced environment: Uphold the YMCA’s core values of Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibility in all aspects of your work.
