Supports the Channel Manager in serving as the liaison between the customer and the company. This position works on a cross functional team consisting of Marketing, Design, New Product Development, Manufacturing and Sales to aid in the development and execution of custom programs for key account(s). The Associate Channel Manager also assists in strategic business plan development in order to drive sales and improve profitability.

  • Assists Channel Manager in customer program development from inception to delivery and determines Product Mix and offering; Packaging and Program P&L.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of customer(s) and related channel(s) of trade.
  • Manages internal and external customer item set up processes. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of all product information in both internal and external product databases.
  • Assists Channel Manager with projects including forecasting, budgeting, time lines, due dates and communicating sales feedback.
  • Assists with the packaging approval process and ensures the accuracy of packaging formats and information.
  • Assists Channel Manager in customer program development and presentations.
  • Collects and analyzes customer POS data and internal sales and profitability data to support business decisions as needed.
  • Supports Channel Manager and Sales in developing pricing strategies that maximize customer profitability, the company's market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates customer mock up and production sample requests, ensuring superior quality and timely delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, word, excel)
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Motivated and independent self-starter that is able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Possesses a positive customer-centric attitude

  • Minimum 3+ years of related work experience
