DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Associate in Cary, NC to design, develop, enhance, and maintain a large mission-critical IT system. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience designing and developing scalable backend systems and microservices using Java and Spring Framework, applying Object-Oriented Programming principles including inheritance, encapsulation, and functional constructs including Streams and Lambda expressions; implementing backend services using C# and .NET for data ingestion, transformation, and archival workflows; building and deploying cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including utilizing Cloud Storage, BigQuery, GKE, and related services for large-scale data archival and retrieval; automating data ingestion and archival using AVRO, and transforming datasets for analytical consumption in platforms including BigQuery; migrating large datasets from Azure to GCP utilizing tools including rclone, including optimization techniques parallel chunking, stream processing, and multithreading to improve performance; creating and configuring GitHub workflows for automated deployment, testing, and CI/CD pipelines across multi-environment systems; developing and maintaining Kafka-based data pipelines for real-time streaming and reliable message delivery between client systems and internal data services; deploying services to on-premises infrastructure using OpenShift and Fabric, and customizing Kubernetes YAML configurations for compliance-driven deployments; writing and debugging scripts and automation tools using languages including Python, Shell, or equivalent to support platform reliability and observability; utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, Git, IntelliJ, PyCharm, Anaconda, Postman, Eclipse, and Android Studio for software development and testing; and managing databases including MongoDB, MySQL, SQLite, Oracle, and Druid for scalable storage and efficient querying across structured and unstructured data.
