About The Position

The Telesales incumbent must be able to communicate effectively and persuasively to a high volume of people throughout the workday, will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization's products. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. Reports to a supervisor or manager of the Inside Sales Team.

  • 1+ years of previous sales experience (inside or outside sales)

Responsibilities

  • Initiates sales calls to customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories.
  • Contacts retailers and explains features and merits of products or services offered by the client, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
  • Creates new accounts. Interact with new and existing customer or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered by the client.
  • Must have the ability to close transactions.
  • Must be able to calculate and quote prices.
  • Client proprietary system planning.
  • Must have Excel experience for order entry and daily scorecard entries.
  • Provides outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to problem solve based on client resources.
  • Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales.
