About the Role Saxton & Stump is seeking 2 motivated and talented Associates with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing Business Litigation Practice Group . The position can be filled in either the firm’s Harrisburg or Lancaster offices. The ideal candidate will combine strong litigation experience, including hands-on involvement in case strategy, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances. Experience with shareholder disputes, business fraud, transactional disputes, injunction proceedings and e-discovery processes a plus. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical abilities, strong writing skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 3–5 years of experience in business litigation or commercial litigation
  • Pennsylvania Bar admission required
  • Strong writing, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
  • A team-oriented mindset and desire to contribute to a fast-growing practice

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with shareholder disputes, business fraud, transactional disputes, injunction proceedings and e-discovery processes a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in all phases of business and commercial litigation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
  • Work with e-discovery service providers
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues
  • Participate in and take depositions
  • Engage in motion practice and oral advocacy
  • Support trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
  • Communicate proactively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in developing case strategies
