The Associate Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the company and clients, working closely with Senior Business Analysts to define business strategies and client requirements. This role involves collaborating with design teams and developers to ensure the final product meets client needs, participating in product testing, and supporting the full client lifecycle from project kick-off to implementation and post-go live support.

  • Work with clients to understand their system requirements.
  • Assist Senior BAs and SMEs in identifying and defining client requirements.
  • Communicate client needs to the product development team.
  • Accountable for assigned functional track and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain deliverables within assigned areas.
  • Participate in product testing and describe defects for resolution.
  • Assist in triaging escalated system defects and clarifying functionality.
  • Support project kick-off, implementation, and go-live phases.
  • Document and maintain deliverables such as requirements documents and configuration design documents.
  • Configure systems based on design and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Work with Senior BAs and SMEs to provide business cases for enhancement requests.
  • Assist design teams and developers in understanding complex requirements and designs.
  • Support QA and support teams in understanding client needs.
  • Further develop industry knowledge and provide support for internal training events.
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies and HIPAA requirements.
  • Experience in a healthcare or specialty pharmacy environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/pharmacy system designs and concepts preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and observational skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills with good judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Goal-oriented and focused individual.
  • Ability to work well as a team member.
  • Possess SQL and Crystal Reports skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area of Healthcare and IT preferred.
