Summary of This Role The Associate Business Analyst will support business operations and technology initiatives by analyzing data, documenting requirements, and assisting in process improvement projects. This role offers hands-on experience in business analysis, data management, and system support.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Management Information Systems (MIS) or related program.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or similar tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Basic understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements for small-scale projects and enhancements.
  • Analyze operational data using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI to identify trends and insights.
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Support testing and validation of system changes and new features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, HR) to ensure alignment of business needs and technical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes and workflows.
