SUMMARY: The Associate Bursar is responsible for the direct supervision of the Student Accounts Office. This position monitors the collection of all student tuition and fees, working with students, parents, University staff/faculty and outside organizations. Provide leadership and direction for student account services related to counseling students and families on financing/payment options, financial clearance, invoicing, collections, and compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. The Associate Bursar assists the Bursar with planning in relation to the Student Accounts area, is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of new initiatives; development of policies and procedures managing staff; and playing a role in identifying opportunities for improvement.
