About The Position

Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Associate Broker to join our growing team! The primary function of the Associate Broker is to analyze market research information in the sale of renewal of business. This role also develops and utilizes creative strategies based on analysis to produce new and renewal business. This position does not drive for business. How You Will Contribute: Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with clients at all levels within the company and leads appropriate resources to address the client’s needs, including risks and the identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues. Analyzes market information to develop, design, and implement creative strategies for sales team members and customers. Work with Broker, ensuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are completed, quotes and binders are confirmed in writing, policies are issued promptly and accurately, state filings (where applicable) are made, and taxes paid in accordance with appropriate state laws. Successfully markets and provides solutions for new and renewal business revenue from existing clients. Discusses business needs and proposes company products and services for existing clients. Retains knowledge of all markets available to maximize opportunities to negotiate placements. Services the designated book of business as it relates to marketing, administration, and sales. Monitors, identifies, and develops new methods for processes and procedures. Maintains compliance with Quality Control guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) or more years of successful insurance experience or completion of a bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

  • An active state insurance license.
