The purpose of this position is to serve as an Associate Engineer for our Broadcast IT engineering department during live productions as well as facilitate the day-to-day operations, including incident response, service requests, troubleshoot systemic problems, inventory documentation, and training. The areas of responsibility are studios, production control rooms, record and playout servers, augmented and virtual reality systems, remote production (REMI), artificial intelligence, and cloud technologies all within two state-of-the-art SMPTE 2110 native facilities for linear and OTT streaming services. This position requires problem solving skills, technical depth, and operational knowledge. This person is also expected to show flexibility in shift work, including occasional weekend and holiday shifts. Travel between WBD sites may be required. The skill set demanded by this position is dynamic and will continue to change rapidly. This individual must demonstrate the ability to accept and adapt to these changes while presenting a willing and positive attitude.
