The Associate Bioskills Lab Coordinator is an ideal position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This facility is utilized for cadaveric procedure labs in support of surgeon design teams, Product Development efforts, Clinical Affairs, Research and Field Sales Training. The Assistant Bioskills Lab Coordinator duties range from equipping the facility, supporting each lab from scheduling to scrub tech duties as well as post lab clean-up activities. Experience as a Surgical Tech and/or X-Ray Tech is a plus but not necessary.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Trade School Certification
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with medical professionals. Ex. Surgical Technology/Radiology Tech
  • Willing to work in cadaveric setting
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a faced paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs
  • Advanced critical thinking and problems-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, and executing cadaver lab trainings, at our Audubon location across multiple divisions (Spine, Imaging Navigation and Robotics (INR), Trauma, Total Joints)
  • Participate in lab from set-up to clean-up (including occasional evenings)
  • Perform Scrub Tech and Circulating duties during cadaver lab
  • Operate C-Arm and function as X-Ray Tech
  • Unpacking cadaveric specimens upon delivery
  • Packing up specimens that are ready for disposal /crematorium pick up
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
