As a lobby leader, the Associate Banker welcomes and guides customers, offering advice on digital and self-serve options, and conducting conversations about banking services, personal banking, and investment advice. The position requires meeting customer transaction needs, reviewing profiles for opportunities, and addressing everyday banking and credit card requirements. The Associate Banker contributes to branch business results and customer experience, supports operational activities, and acts as a key member of a collaborative team. They are expected to understand customer needs, integrate marketing promotions, organize information for accuracy, and continuously improve the customer experience. The role also involves adhering to risk and compliance processes, safeguarding customer assets, maintaining privacy, and upholding ethical standards. Keeping current with financial market trends, legal/regulatory environments, and personal banking products is essential, as is identifying and reporting suspicious activities related to money laundering. The Associate Banker completes complex tasks, analyzes issues, and escalates as needed, while applying the Risk Management Framework.
