This role involves working collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to achieve business objectives and enhance the customer experience. As a lobby leader, the Associate Banker welcomes and guides customers, offering advice on digital and self-serve options, and conducting conversations about banking services, personal banking, and investment advice. Key responsibilities include meeting customer transaction needs, reviewing customer profiles to identify opportunities for everyday banking plans and credit cards, and contributing to branch business results. The position also entails supporting operational activities such as inventory management and escalated service requests. The Associate Banker is a key member of a collaborative team, integrating marketing promotions into customer conversations, organizing work for accuracy, and continuously seeking to improve the overall customer experience. The role requires adherence to risk and compliance processes, safeguarding customer assets, maintaining privacy, and acting in the customer's best interest. It also involves staying current with the financial services marketplace, legal and regulatory environments, and personal banking products, as well as identifying and reporting suspicious activity related to money laundering. The Associate Banker is expected to complete complex tasks, analyze issues, and apply BMO's Risk Management Framework.
