The Associate Banker delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their needs and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions. This role involves working collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to enhance the customer experience and achieve business objectives, including identifying referral opportunities. As a lobby leader, the Associate Banker welcomes and guides customers, offering advice on digital and self-serve options, and conducting conversations about banking services, personal banking, and investment advice. The position also entails meeting customer transaction needs, reviewing profiles for opportunities, addressing everyday banking and credit card needs, and contributing to branch business results. Operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, and opening/closing duties are also part of the role. The Associate Banker is a key member of a versatile team, proactively engaging customers with marketing promotions and maintaining accuracy in work information. They are expected to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the customer experience and adhere to risk and compliance processes, safeguarding customer assets and privacy. Continuous learning about the financial services marketplace, legal/regulatory environment, and personal banking products is required, along with identifying and reporting suspicious activities related to money laundering. The role involves completing complex tasks, analyzing issues, and making risk-informed decisions in line with the bank's Risk Management Framework.
