The Associate Banker delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identifying their needs and providing advice on financial solutions. This role involves working collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to enhance the customer experience and achieve business objectives, including identifying referral opportunities. The Associate Banker acts as a lobby leader, guiding customers on digital and self-serve options, and conducting conversations about banking services, personal banking, and investment advice. Responsibilities also include meeting customer transaction needs, reviewing profiles for opportunities, addressing everyday banking and credit card needs, and contributing to branch business results. The role supports operational activities such as inventory management and application follow-ups. Associate Bankers are expected to be proactive in personalizing customer experiences, contributing to continuous improvement, and maintaining current knowledge of financial services, legal, and regulatory environments. They must comply with all requirements, protect bank assets, and identify/report suspicious activities related to money laundering. The position involves completing complex tasks, analyzing issues, and escalating as needed, while applying BMO's Risk Management Framework.
