About The Position

As an Associate Banker at BMO, you will deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects, identifying their needs and providing advice on financial solutions that are in their best interests. You will work collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to enhance the customer experience and achieve business objectives. Your role will involve welcoming customers into the branch, guiding them on digital and self-serve options, and assisting in client conversations about banking services. You will also support operational activities, contribute to branch business results, and ensure compliance with risk and regulatory processes. This position may require you to work at multiple branches and adapt to varying schedules based on market needs.

Requirements

  • Typically between 1 - 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
  • Confident in using social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
  • Some experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Aptitude for listening, problem-solving, and responding to challenges.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational, collaboration, and analytical skills.

  • Registration to sell investment products (for Canada only).
  • Experience in a consultative sales environment.
