Summary: The New York Mets are seeking an Associate, Ballpark Experience to provide operational, administrative, and customer-service assistance to ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day activities. They will support multiple verticals, including Hospitality, Consumer Products, Promotions & Gameday Events, Heritage & Memorabilia, and Game Presentation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Departmental Operations & Administrative Support Provide cross-functional support for daily BE operations, assisting with administrative, event, and logistics tasks Manage promotional inventory, short-turn internal and external requests for promotional items, merchandise, and VIP gifts Assist with meeting setup, credential distribution, deliveries, and inventory organization Maintain department supplies, swag, and signage; track requests and replenishment needs Support game-day and event operations, including setup and breakdown of activations, hospitality spaces, and promotional areas Retail & Order Fulfillment – “Mets Team Store Delivered to Your Door” Serve as a primary point of contact for phone and email orders through the Mets Team Store Provide exceptional customer service — confirm product availability, process orders, manage payments, and respond to inquiries Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and on time; coordinate with Aramark Retail for inventory and restocking Track order data, returns, and guest feedback; help develop ideas to drive additional business Collaborate with Marketing and Consumer Products to promote the service and ensure brand consistency Support Amazin’ Memorabilia fulfillment, shipping, and auction management as needed Game-Day & Event Support Assist with anthem singers, Veterans of the Game, and on-field ceremonies, coordinating tickets, escorts, and hospitality needs Support Promotions & Guest Experience Staff on giveaway distribution, tracking inventory, special ticketed events, theme-night setup, and fan engagement activations Provide backup support for Hospitality events, retail displays, and special initiatives Serve as a visible, guest-facing representative of the Ballpark Experience team on game days Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required 0–2 years of relevant experience (sports, hospitality, retail, or event operations preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop is a plus Must be available to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and all Mets home games or major events Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform occasional physical tasks related to event setup Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to different sites as needed Core Competencies & Attributes Service Mindset: Enthusiastic and eager to assist teammates and guests Team Player: Willing to help across all verticals and adapt to changing priorities Responsiveness: Handles requests quickly and professionally to maintain BE’s “best to work with” standard Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in orders, communication, and execution Professionalism: Represents the Mets brand with positivity, courtesy, and reliability The above information is intended to describe the general nature, type, and level of work to be performed.
