About The Position

This position will be responsible for working, as part of a diverse and skilled technical team, to write and test software in high level languages, and to develop and test signal processing algorithms from concept to implementation. Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field
  • Familiarity with the language P
  • Demonstrated familiarity with optimization and applications to modeling and simulation
  • Demonstrated work involving autonomy architecture implementation and documentation
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Linux-based operating systems
  • Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) programming in algorithm level languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Python, C# or similar
  • Demonstrated experience performing research and technical work supporting DoD customers, including but not limited to AFRL
  • Research involving parallel distributed autonomy applications
  • Experience with using Linux shell scripting (bash, dash, ksh, etc.)
  • Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills
