About The Position

The Junior Associate Attorney position is a full-time role at a solo practitioner law firm in Central Jersey, focusing on various legal areas including Criminal Law, Municipal Court, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate. The role requires strong writing skills, the ability to conduct legal research, and the capacity to meet deadlines while working independently. The Associate will engage with clients, write briefs, and make court appearances, both virtually and in-person, as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
• Strong writing skills with at least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Quick learner capable of working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in another language is a plus.
• 1 year of experience in Criminal defense law is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in DUI law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and write briefs.
• Meet with clients to discuss their cases.
• Make court appearances, both virtually and in-person.
• Handle cases in Criminal Law, Municipal Court, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate.
• Manage multiple court appearances simultaneously.
