We expect our attorneys to earn $100,000+ in their second year with the firm, even when they are recent law school graduates. Excellent training program. We have an open-door policy to get help and training to become the best attorney possible. After training, q uarterly bonuses and profit sharing — directly tied to the collections of your fees. Partially remote schedule with flexibility and respect for your personal life. No weekly evening or weekend work expectations unless you prefer to work those hours or you have a trial scheduled. Dedicated billing & intake team — so you can focus on law, not logistics. Participation in a robust training program for courtroom skills, client management, and family law practice. Requirements

• Minimum: 110 billable hours per month (1,300–1,400 annually) with bonus tiers for performance. If you want to earn more and work more, that's an option.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in family law litigation.

• A licensed Michigan attorney (or you will be taking the upcoming bar exam)
• A strong writer and persuasive speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Goal-oriented with the grit to advocate for clients during court hearings and negotiations.
• Empathy to help clients through difficult times, but also be able and willing to share blunt truths with clients.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, parenting time, support, post-judgment issues, grandparenting rights, and appellate work.
• Handle your own full caseload and manage client relationships with empathy and strategy.
• Appear regularly in court; attend mediations and depositions, and take ownership of litigation from day one (with mentorship and support as needed).
• We take cases to trial, and you should be willing to do so.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal arguments at a high level.
• Some of our attorneys handle appellate work, and we have an option for a position to grow into a full-time appellate position.
