Our Dallas/Fort Worth office seeks a well-rounded, highly-motivated, experienced Associate Attorney with at least three years of personal injury litigation experience. Must be licensed to practice in Texas. Additional court admissions would be a plus. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle a variety of litigation matters in state and federal courts with a forward-thinking firm.

Requirements

  • demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills
  • ability to move from case to case
  • knowledge of both state and federal court procedures
  • proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and navigating the internet
  • at least three years of personal injury litigation experience
  • Must be licensed to practice in Texas

Responsibilities

  • draft, prepare and handle pleadings, motions, orders and legal memoranda
  • draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions
  • conduct legal research competently and with proficiency
  • prepare and take depositions of parties and witnesses
  • review client documents and draft case evaluations
  • participate in mediations and court appearances
  • interact directly with clients, claim professionals, and opposing counsel
