About The Position

Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Northwest Office. The Associate Attorney will play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients’ rights and delivering outstanding legal services. Singleton Schreiber's Northwest Office, which opened in 2025, is led by three former senior Department of Justice officials, who are committed to making Singleton Schreiber, LLP one of the top plaintiff's firms in Eastern Washington and the Northwest. The Northwest Office, based in Spokane, focuses on the following practice areas: Whistleblower and False Claims Act Personal Injury Mass Torts Sexual and Human Trafficking Wildfire Litigation Employment Law The Firm and the Northwest Office are committed to fostering a welcoming, collaborative office culture rooted in mutual support, where every team member contributes to building a premier Plaintiff's firm known for excellence. This position will be based in Spokane, Washington.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Washington required
  • At least one year of experience in litigation.
  • Detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing a high volume of time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
  • This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a plaintiff’s attorney and/or prosecutorial or criminal defense experience preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking, and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
  • Perform legal research.
  • Make court appearances as necessary.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
