About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Associate Attorney to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this litigation-focused attorney role. Only candidates who meet the required qualifications in full will be considered for interview. Candidates with short, inconsistent tenures or frequent job changes without progression will not move forward in the process. This Associate Attorney will handle complex litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution, including trial preparation and appellate exposure where applicable. The role requires a disciplined, detail-oriented litigator who can independently manage files while collaborating strategically with senior attorneys. The position is strictly on-site in Denver, Colorado. Local candidates with an active Colorado license are required.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active and unrestricted Colorado law license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
  • Proven deposition experience (taking and defending).
  • Demonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions.
  • Strong legal research and analytical writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a demanding caseload with organization and accountability.
  • Comfort working with modern legal technology systems.

Nice To Haves

  • 3–7 years of litigation experience.
  • Insurance-related litigation background.
  • Experience handling first- and third-party claims.
  • Coverage dispute and bad faith litigation exposure.
  • Personal injury or premises liability defense experience.
  • Federal court litigation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Managing litigation files from inception through disposition.
  • Conducting and defending depositions with confidence and preparation.
  • Drafting dispositive motions and substantive pleadings.
  • Performing detailed legal research and delivering clear written analysis.
  • Preparing pre-litigation evaluations and strategic recommendations.
  • Representing clients in state and federal court proceedings.
  • Managing discovery strategy, motion practice, and evidentiary development.
  • Preparing cases for trial, including witness preparation and exhibit organization.
  • Communicating effectively with clients regarding case strategy and exposure.
