About The Position

Our Client is a respected legal practice specializing in mortgage foreclosure and creditor-side collections. The firm is known for providing comprehensive legal services and fostering professional growth among its attorney team members. We are seeking a motivated entry-level Associate Attorney to join a Confidential Client in Cincinnati, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections law while learning from experienced legal professionals. The successful candidate will develop specialized expertise in creditor-side litigation and foreclosure proceedings in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Current licensure to practice law in both Ohio and Kentucky, in good standing
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational abilities
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with a team
Active bar license in both Ohio and Kentucky
J.D. from accredited law school
Ability to work remotely and manage time independently

Nice To Haves

Legal internship or clerkship experience in foreclosure, collections, or litigation
Relevant coursework in foreclosure, collections, or litigation law
Prior experience in creditor-side collections or real estate law

Responsibilities

Handle mortgage foreclosure cases and creditor-side collections matters
Draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings related to foreclosure and collections litigation
Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Assist in case preparation and attend court hearings and depositions
Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff
Manage case files and maintain organizational systems
