Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensure from local bar association
  • 2 plus years of estate planning experience
  • Can communicate verbally and in writing with warmth, professionalism, and excellence–building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Possess strong time management skills
  • Show exceptional attention to detail and organization, consistently completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Display strong personal ethics, computer literacy, and time management skills
  • Exhibit a passion for helping people
  • Enjoy a fast-paced workplace and multitask with ease
  • Be flexible and open to change and improvement
  • Navigate sensitive information with compassion and confidentiality
  • Work effectively under pressure
  • Bring a positive, team-first attitude to every interaction
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop foundational and comprehensive estate plans for clients to include in-person and virtual client meetings, phone calls, correspondence, research, and document drafting
  • Pursue business development opportunities with potential referral sources and individual clients
  • Review and update established estate plans, defining the best course of action
  • Partner with the legal team to compile client business plans
  • Assist with buy-sell agreements, LLC formation, and operating agreements
  • Work collaboratively as an important member of the attorney team, assisting as needed
