Our law firm is looking for the next associate attorney to assist in providing legal counsel toclients. You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. If you’ve recently graduated from law school, have excellent fact-finding and communication skills, and are ready to jump-start your career in the legal industry, we want to hear from you! Management, oversight, and primary responsibility for all estate administration matters Conduct follow-up call with probate clients Determine a plan for the administration of the Estate, what information is needed from the client, and communicate with the Estate Administration Team on next steps Review pleading drafts prepared by Estate Administration Legal Assistants and Paralegals Ensure that pleadings are submitted according to estate timelines Resolve any issues with the court surrounding a probate matter Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients through email, phone, and in-person meetings Ensure that all time is tracked accurately and submitted on time by the end of each week Comfortable with technology and web-based apps Ability to consistently track and enter billable time in practice management software Effective teamwork and communication skills

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited Law School
  • Active Massachusetts Bar Licensure
  • 2-3 years of experience in Massachusetts probate matters as a primary concentration
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Responsibilities

  • Management, oversight, and primary responsibility for all estate administration matters
