Requirements

• Strong foundation in DUI, Criminal, and Traffic Law
• NJ Bar License (Required)
• Proficient in legal drafting and documentation with a keen attention to detail
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests
• Excellent research abilities to navigate legal databases and resources efficiently
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear client interactions and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple cases simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining accurate records within a busy law office

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Appear in Superior and Municipal Courts daily
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings as needed
• Assist in the development of case strategies
• Maintain organized case files and provide administrative support as necessary within the law office
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on their cases and address any concerns
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters to enhance professional growth
