About The Position

We have a well-earned reputation within the business community of providing sound, reasoned, practical and comprehensive legal advice. Messerli Kramer represents a variety of clients across a series of practice groups: Banking and Finance, Business Litigation, Corporate and Estate Planning, Commercial Real Estate and Family Law. This individual will have minimum of 5 years of real estate transactional experience including representing clients in commercial leasing, sale/acquisition, finance and real estate development transactions. The position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a thriving and accomplished real estate practice and collegial work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in real estate transactions as a licensed attorney.
• Experience with a wide range of real estate transactions including purchase and sale, financing, leasing, title and survey review, business structure and/or joint venture agreements/operating agreements.
• Effective negotiations experience in complex real estate transactions.
• Strong drafting experience of purchase and sales agreements related to complex commercial real estate transactions.
• Must have solid legal writing skills, analytical and ability to build relationships.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail and strong academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Handle heavy deal volume within the corporate and real estate teams.
• Manage real estate due diligence for sale and purchase and financing transactions.
• Manage complex closings of real estate sale and purchase deals.
