The M&A Transactional Group is comprised of attorneys who draft, review, negotiate, and finalize engagement documentation for the shareholder representative and escrow and payments business lines. The Associate Attorney position (also referred to generally as “M&A Counsel”) requires experienced attorneys who demonstrate a strong and diverse set of skills that make them effective deal lawyers. M&A Counsel: Are assigned to work on deals on which SRS Acquiom is engaged to provide shareholder representative or Acquiom financial services (“Deals”); Coordinate with other relevant SRS Acquiom staff and the client and their counsel; Review, negotiate, and finalize Deal documents in accordance with SRS Acquiom-approved procedures; and Otherwise, Shepherd deals up to and through the closing of such Deal. M&A Counsel also provides support to SRS Acquiom Business Development Representatives (“BD Reps”), Relationship Managers (“RMs”), Relationship Associates (“RAs”), and other staff as appropriate, including coordination of escalations to the Managing Director, General Counsel, Operations, and Product. This position can be fully US-based remote, and may require some travel.
