The Opportunity As an Associate Attorney in our Consumer Class Action Department, you will have the opportunity to advocate for our clients and be involved in prosecuting complex consumer fraud, data privacy, and breach of warranty class action cases. Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- 2+ years of expierence working in Consumer Class Action or Data Privacy areas
- At least three years of litigation experience
- Outstanding legal research
- Ability to collaborate and work independently
- Out-of-box thinking
- Aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple deadlines
- Experience in mediation
- Ability to type at least 40 wpm

- Appellate experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments
- Draft and file complaints for data breach cases in volume with quick turn around time
- Draft and revise legal documents, including complaints, briefs, and memoranda
- Participate in strategy sessions and case planning meetings with senior attorneys and the litigation team
- Review and analyze discovery materials to identify key evidence and build a strong case
- Write and research pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Attend hearings
- Stay updated on relevant legal precedents, industry trends, and regulatory changes that may impact ongoing cases
- Coordinate with expert witnesses, including reviewing expert reports and preparing for expert depositions
