About The Position

The Atlanta office of Litchfield Cavo is seeking a highly-motivated Mid to Senior Level Associate Attorney with at least three years’ experience in general civil litigation, intellectual property litigation, mass torts litigation, products liability litigation and/or general liability litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing and analytical skills. Must be licensed to practice in Georgia. Courtroom and trial experience, as well as additional state admissions, are a plus. Requirements

• at least three years’ experience in general civil litigation, intellectual property litigation, mass torts litigation, products liability litigation and/or general liability litigation
• licensed to practice in Georgia
• strong legal research and analytical skills
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• strong attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills
• ability to manage multiple case files successfully in a busy environment
• knowledge of both state and federal court procedures

Responsibilities

• draft, prepare and handle pleadings, motions, orders and legal memoranda
• draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions
• conduct legal research competently and with proficiency
• prepare and take depositions of parties and experts
• review client documents, draft case evaluations and status report correspondence
• assist with and participate in mediations and court appearances
