About The Position

Reporting to the Head of Planning and Programme Management, this role will provide strategic support to the Management Committee, drive key performance metrics, execute special projects, and ensure smooth operations across the Corporation.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences or other related disciplines or equivalent
  • 12 years of experience, preferably in business management, strategic planning as a Programme Management Office (PMO) role and supporting the C-Suite of an MNC
  • Exceptional cross-division coordination and communication skills, with self-driven ability to achieve excellent results
  • Highly sensitive to macro-economic, social and political environment locally and globally
  • High level of maturity and be able to work under pressure and a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive forward thinker always at the forefront and getting hands-on to kick-start new initiatives
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple high-profile projects under tight schedules
  • Manage confidentiality and non-disclosure at all times, without exception
  • Great sense of humor and a positive attitude
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including in Putonghua)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in public organization or with training in Engineering /PMP certification will be a plus
  • Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Management Committee to translate the Corporation’s vision, mission and values into actionable initiatives and programmes
  • Collaborate with initiative leaders and Government stakeholders to drive programme success and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Provide expert programme management to drive strategic planning, maintain team focus and coordination, and ensure cross-divisional integration to meet plans and performance indicators
  • Act as gatekeeper for HKSTP’s Corporate Governance and internal processes, continuously seeking procedural improvements and evaluating risks
  • Guide the Corporation’s day-to-day rhythm by monitoring KPIs, government targets, and corporate objectives, delivering actionable insights and driving timely course corrections
  • Prepare and coordinate board papers, committee reports, strategic submissions, and government documentation
  • Conduct economic impact analyses, develop business plans, articulate business cases, and lead consultancies and market positioning studies
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
