About The Position

The position involves performing assembly operations on a variety of medical products by following both written and verbal instructions. The role requires checking work for proper assembly, which may involve using a microscope to ensure that specifications are met. Additionally, the individual will set up and operate various packaging devices, adhere to clean room gowning requirements (PPE), and assemble, label, and package a variety of sterile and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies according to established procedures. Accurate completion of all necessary paperwork is also required, including printing labels as needed. The role includes performing preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines as required, as well as undertaking other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year work experience preferably in assembly and packaging operations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work at established production rates and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must be able to work all scheduled overtime.
• Basic English speaking/comprehension/reading ability required.

Responsibilities

• Check work for proper assembly; may use microscope for checking assembly to ensure specifications are met.

• Assemble, label, and package a variety of sterile and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies following established procedures.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
