About The Position

Associate Applied Mathematician Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Phantom Works has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Applied Mathematician to join us as part of the Advanced Codes & Measurements team located in Berkeley, MO. Position Responsibilities: Research, prototype, and compare mathematical algorithms Code, test and maintain mathematical software tools Assist in evaluating computational resources to solve mathematical problems Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques Influence colleagues to use appropriate mathematical tools and processes This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Berkeley, MO. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start may be required. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 2+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• 1+ years of experience with analytical, quantitative reasoning and/or mathematical modeling skills
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start may be required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
